Support NHW - Become a Volunteer Print E-mail
The sucess of NHW very much depends on the support the programme receives from the local community.  R4D2 includes approximately 170,000 households in the three local government areas Boroondara, Monash and Whitehorse making it the largest NHW Division in the state.  Whilst R4D2 currently provides police with a volunteer resource of approximately 5000 people, it is vital that we not only maintain but increase these numbers so that NHW can continue to contribute to creating safe communities where we live.

Volunteers are always welcome.  If you have a lot of time or just a little there are plenty of ways you can support NHW.  For example, become a zone representative and help distribute the monthly NHW newsletter in your area.  Other roles that you can volunteer for include Newsletter Editor, Area Manager, Treasurer and Secretary.  Alternatively lend your support by attending the meetings in your Area or the various NHW events held throughout the year.
